Our Members

Hi! I'm Ruhi, a high school junior from California with a passion for medicine, service, and environmental responsibility. As a genetics researcher and board member of the Environmental Club at school, I am especially interested in the ways scientific innovation and environmental advocacy can improve human health. Outside the classroom, I am dedicated to community service through tutoring and teaching under-resourced children and Ukrainian students, and running a henna initiative that raises funds for charitable causes (@henna.ruhi on Instagram). I also enjoy reading, dancing, and spending time outdoors.

As the founder of EcoZoo, I hope to inspire others, especially children, to care for both people and the planet by teaching and raising awareness of how the environment and our choices affect our health. I hopes my work will encourage children to make meaningful changes that create a lasting impact.
